Due to the fact that today has offered a bit of a break from our horrendously moist and cloudy weather, I thought that I would take some time to post some recent Pro Bono work the EYMER BRAND Laboratories + Think Tank completed for Cohasset's Sandy Beach Association.
Sandy Beach is one of the two beaches available to residents of the town of Cohasset MA. The facility, now celebrating its 100th birthday is supported through the hard work and fundraising efforts of the Sandy Beach Association and the energetic volunteers that make it all happen. The SBA receives no funding from the town, the state, or the federal government. Despite the fact that you are required to have a current Cohasset beach permit to park in the adjacent parking lot, not a penny of the funds generated from parking tickets are received by the beach.
During the summer season, the organization hires a few dozen of Cohasset's youth population as lifeguards, gatekeepers and maintenance workers.
Over the past few years, EYMER has volunteered our talents to build and maintain the SBA website, design fund-generating T-shirts as well as other marketing/promotional assignments.
This past spring, we developed an updated version of the SBA corporate mark for the 100th-anniversary celebration. In addition, a series of vehicle graphics were designed to show various levels of giving. Unfortunately, our proposed donation level labels did not make the final cut. Sea Glass Society, Sea Snail Society, Hermit Crab Society and Starfish Society, beat out Big Kahuna, Beach Bunny, and Beachcomber.
