Like many creative marketing firms, EYMER BRAND Laboratories + Think Tank is undergoing the annual business summer slowdown. Headquartered in charming New England, natives know that when summer arrives, you need to duck out of work early (or not show up at all) and enjoy the shortest of the four seasons.
Experience also has shown that every four years, there is much trepidation about moving forward with projects due to the impending election. This year, election fears continue to skyrocket as stomach acids continue to roll and churn.
I am sure that you will agree, this election season is more agita-inducing than most. Even NPR's "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!" steered away from politics last weekend and focussed on a calming musical theme.
Summer stagnation and election jitters are problematic on the new business front as individuals like me tend to pace and worry. It is then that I look back through emails from the same season of past years and once again conclude that everything is cyclical. Soon the phones will begin to ring incessantly; the email will ping, and bottled-up worries will quietly dissipate.
(Deep calming breath.)
Today's eymerBLOG post will be following NPR's tonality of quiet reflection and lighthearted banter.
Since 2009, EYMER BRAND Laboratories + Think Tank has been responsible for marketing GOOD SPORT, Cohasset's locally-owned sporting goods retailer. So why is the owner, Austin Lyne one of my MVP clients? It is because he is willing to put up with my constant displays of unchecked silliness (a.k.a. free reign).
Here are my Top 10 Marketing Graphics for GOOD SPORT.
