Not as Easy as You Might Think!

August 3, 2015

While recently trolling online, I found this delightful little ad. Give me a break! Five dollars for a logo! No way.

Fiverr, you are taunting my profession and I refuse to sit back and ignore you! Sure, I have used your services for some non-cerebral, automatic tasks that deserve $5. Five measly dollars? For a unique piece of intellectual capital requiring a tanker load of blood sweat and tears?

Call me pessimistic, but I foresee a severe foreshadowing of disappointment. One disgruntled designer and one disappointed customer.

So then, I decided to roll the same concept out to other professions. Here are a couple of examples.
