The Responsible Flushing Alliance's New Coloring Book Teaches Kids to Flush Responsibly!

June 7, 2022

EYMER BRAND Laboratories+Think Tank and senior marketer Sally Sisson worked with the Responsible Flushing Alliance (RFA) to create an educational coloring book.

The publication teaches elementary school students that non-flushable wipes, dental floss, feminine hygiene products, cotton balls, etc., should not be flushed. Flushing items other than toilet paper often results in massive 'Fatberg' sewer clogs that frequently affect entire communities.

The streamlined storyline follows a responsible dog, Apollo, a mischievous cat, Artemis, and an unnamed child. They eventually squelch the cat's desire to fill the toilet with as many objects as possible and avoid a visit from the Clog Monster.

The book was written by Sally Sisson and illustrated by Doug Eymer.
