Creating a Visual Brand for a Retail Marijuana Establishment

EYMER BRAND Laboratories + Think Tank recently partnered with Warren Impact to create a visual brand for marijuana establishment, Health Circle, Inc.

The Massachusetts company's flagship facility will open in mid to late fall of this year, where cannabis will be grown and cultivated, converted into various products, and sold on a retail level.

The project includes the creation and design of a logotype, abbreviated sub-mark, interior and exterior signage, interior graphic treatments, and concepts for proposed rollouts for employee apparel, shopping bags, and packaging.

To better visualize the final visual identity goals, please picture a high-end Starbucks location where individuals over the age of 21 and with proper credentials may legally purchase marijuana and cannabis products.

In addition to strict town compliance guidelines and restrictions, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission has developed an extremely detailed set of rules with a tightly run review and approval process.

Our goal is to fully comply with the guidelines while creating a memorable visual brand identity that occasionally pushes the envelope.
