In the mid-1980s, my wife, and partner, Selene Carlo-Eymer worked as a senior art director for The Woodard Group, a small yet high-powered marketing communications company located in Boston, Massachusetts and lead by Bruce Woodard.
To refresh the firm's visual brand, Selene, and fellow senior art director, Carol Doherty (sp) created a brilliant promotional marketing campaign. The brochure, poster series, and multi-color t-shirt featured the word shepherding of Brian Flood and the beautiful illustration of Hal Mayforth.
For Selene, her work at the firm (until its closing in 1989), provided a wonderful springboard for launching EYMER DESIGN, later that same year. – Doug.
