What's Happening to My Job!!??

February 16, 2017
mailing panel & back

mailing panel & back

In honor of "Throwback Thursday," I thumbed back through our archives and found this gem from November 2001. A large audience of Boston's communications professionals received this as an invitation to a panel discussion lead by some of the region's most influential communications experts.

The early morning event addressed the fears that many communications professionals were experiencing while traditional and online communications began their convergence.

From a project standpoint, this was a rapidly moving pro bono piece, and one where I was able to take advantage of the opportunity to introduce a Fry-O-Lator headed business person, simultaneously shaking hands while deep frying human brains.

As a designer, there are often opportunities to seize an opportunity for free expression, while simultaneously generating a thought-provoking piece. This was, fortunately, one of those cases.

Cheers! — Doug.
