Kennedy's Country Gardens: Introduction (30 seconds)
Kennedy's Country Gardens has been the 'go-to' nursery for residents residing in the seacoast south of Boston. In addition to a wide array of plants, trees, landscaping materials, tools, and garden decor, Chris Kennedy and his team hold a knowledge base of plant-related information.
As a locally owned business challenged by 'big box' home centers, Kennedy's relies on loyal customers who understand the benefit of a company with great products and outstanding service.
Kennedy's recently worked with EYMER BRAND Laboratories + Think Tank to create a series of television commercials. The set of three ads were designed to generate new customers as well as motivate some old ones.
The collective project team also included Greg Brown, founder and executive producer of Sunset Venue Media and Christopher Linnehan, Account Executive for Comcast Spotlight. Christopher worked behind the scenes to create a broadcast schedule designed to reach the right customers, on the right network, at the right time.
The trio of commercials includes Chris Kennedy, third-generation owner, as the primary spokesperson. You don't have to spend much time at Kennedy's before realizing that Chris is the onsight 'rock star.' He is peppered continually with questions from both customers and employees alike. All inquiries are answered with the same pleasant misdemeanor, as demonstrated in the ads.

Kennedy's Country Gardens: Container Gardens (15 seconds):
A company specialty is the creation of container gardens. The final scene of this spot features cameos by Greg Brown (producer) and Doug Eymer (creative director). Admittedly, neither will be given Academy Award consideration, but sometimes, you need to work with who is available.
Kennedy's Country Gardens: Questions (15 seconds):
The final commercial brings to light, the many questions addressed daily. In a light-hearted manner, Chris wants his audience to feel free to ask him anything plant and garden related. After all, this is one of the main reasons that Kennedy's has been around for nearly 60 years.
