From 1991-2000, South Boston was the home of Eymer Design's global headquarters. This was way before becoming the fashionable seaport district of today.
Our sixth floor warehouse space was wide open. With 14' high ceilings and a large bank of windows, we faced Boston Harbor and Logan Airport. When the President was in town, we had a distant view of the parked Air Force One.
To announce our move, friends received a felt pennant. Listed on the pennant were the positive benefits associated with the space.
- Cool Design
- Groovy Attitudes
- Ocean View
- Live Sea Gulls
Decor included a stuffed marlin, acquired through a trade with a cash strapped client. Through similar means, we received a door from a Yellow Cab. Doug's grandfather's eclectic record collection adorned the base of the walls.
In 2000, following our acquisition by PARTNERS+simons, we moved up two floors. Same building. Longer elevator ride.
In 2004, the office moved to Cohasset MA. We still have water views but with far fewer sea gulls to contend with! Please come and visit! Oh, and the phone number is now 781.383.8844.
