One-of-kind, metal angels. A unique holiday gift that supports a wonderful cause.
Education is the gift that keeps on giving. Shortly after Project Angel launched last May, five Thayer Academy Global Scholars succeeded in raising awareness and $4,710 in funds for educational campaigns in Haiti, Nepal, Peru, and Zambia.
In January 2019, as part of her Global Scholar’s Independent Project, Johany Madrid ('19) will continue Project Angel’s mission to support education in under-served communities by building a campaign in partnership with the Ometepe Bilingual School in Nicaragua, a school in which Johany has volunteered.
Regardless of culture or religion, angels are universal symbols of protection, guidance, and support. Project Angel's mission is to provide support to students and teachers around the world by raising awareness of the need for, as well as funds to promote, greater global equity in education.
In exchange for your gift of $40, you will receive a token of our gratitude: an angel hand-crafted from up-cycled oil-drums in Haiti.
Each up-cycled oil-drum, metal angel, was crafted in Noailles, Haiti.
They measure 5" high x 3" wide and are available in 7 unique designs for multiple orders.
Purchase of each angel includes a $30 donation to fund an educational program of your choice in an under-served area of the world.
